Storage Wars Star Dies At 67
Darrell Sheets, known for his starring role on the hit television show Storage Wars, has died at 67.
According to the Lake Havasu City Police Department, officers responded to a report of a deceased individual around 2 a.m. on April 22. When they arrived, they found Sheets dead at the scene.
“Upon arrival, officers located a male subject who suffered from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head,” according to the report. “The male was pronounced deceased on scene, and the Lake Havasu City Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Unit was notified and responded to the scene to assume the investigation.”

Authorities say his death appears to be a suicide, though the investigation is ongoing and final confirmation will come from the medical examiner.
“The body was ultimately turned over to the Mohave County Medical Examiner’s office for further investigation. The male subject has been identified as Darrell Sheets, a 67-year-old resident of Lake Havasu City, and Darrell’s family has been notified.”
Who Was Darrell Sheets?
Sheets became a fan favorite on Storage Wars thanks to his bold bidding style, which earned him the nickname “The Gambler.” Over the years, he gained recognition for taking big risks on storage units, sometimes uncovering valuable and surprising items.
He later stepped away from the show and moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
