Stouffer’s Creates Tap That Dispenses Mac & Cheese

Comfort food lovers rejoice! Hot, fresh streams of gooey macaroni and cheese will soon be available via a tap, thanks to Stouffer’s, the famous brand behind frozen food entrees.

On Friday (June 26), Stouffer’s announced their newest invention….the Mac on Tap. It’s the company’s first foray into hot meals since 1992 when they sold their namesake restaurants, resorts and hotels to focus on frozen food.

According to a Stouffer’s spokesperson, “Mac on Tap is a food dispenser with an internal heater that keeps pre-cooked Stouffer’s mac and cheese at serving temperature. It’s basically like a nacho cheese dispenser that also dispenses warm noodles. With one pull of the lever, creamy mac will pour out from an aptly sized metal tap. It can go straight into a bowl for dinner…or on top of whatever food item folks can get their hands on.”

The company hasn’t announced exactly when Mac on Tap will be available, but they hinted that they’re aiming for a 2020 release. But, before the dispensers make a public appearance, Stouffer’s want some ideas from their customers as to where to install them. While gas stations and restaurants are an obvious choice, many fans are suggesting weddings and even home machines.
