Taylor Swift Donates $1 Million To Tennessee Emergency Response Fund Following Devastating Tornadoes

Former country music artist turned global pop star, Taylor Swift, donated $1 million to assist with tornado relief efforts in Tennessee.

On Saturday (December 9) a tornado-producing severe weather system tore through the middle of the state. The Tennessean refers to The Tennessee Emergency Management Agency, which confirmed in “preliminary reporting” there were 13 tornadoes across the state.

Six people lost their lives. Officials in the city of Clarksville report an additional 62 people were hospitalized.
