ACM Honors 2025 Date Announced
The ACM Honors are coming up soon, and some of country music’s biggest names are set to be recognized.
The 18th Academy of Country Music Honors will take place Wednesday, August 20, at The Pinnacle in Nashville, Tennessee.
In addition to the official air date, the ACM has also announced the list of this year’s award recipients.
Who Will Be Awarded At The 2025 ACM Honors?
This year’s announced honorees include Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll, and Luke Combs.
Eric Church, Randy Travis, and Cody Johnson will also be recognized for their contributions this year.

Lainey Wilson is set to receive the ACM Artist-Songwriter of the Year award. This is the second year in a row she’s been honored at the off-camera ceremony.
Last year, she took home the prestigious ACM Triple Crown and Milestone Awards.

Jelly Roll will be honored with the ACM Lifting Lives Award for his philanthropic efforts. The “Save Me” singer has donated $1 from every ticket sold of his Backroad Baptism Tour and raised over $600,000 to support at-risk youth. He’s also visited facilities across the country to meet with inmates and share his story.
On top of that, he has testified before Congress to push for improved mental health care and more resources to fight the ongoing fentanyl crisis.
Cody Johnson will be given the ACM Spirit Award. This award is given to a singer-songwriter who continues the legacy of Merle Haggard. They do so by “crafting great songs and epitomizing Merle’s spirit through genuine performances and great storytelling.”
Randy Travis will receive this year’s ACM Milestone Award for his impact on shaping the genre. Luke Combs will also take home the ACM International Award for his worldwide fan base.
More Special ACM Honor Awards Recipients
In addition, Eric Church and the late Ben Vaughn, former president and CEO of Warner Chappell Music Nashville, will be honored with the ACM Icon Award.
The Icon Award is presented to those who have “advanced the popularity of the genre through their contributions in multiple facets of the industry.”
Other honorees at this year’s ACM Honors ceremony include Jessie Jo Dillon, Nashville Songwriter Hall of Famer Mac McAnally, and industry executive Lori Badgett.
Rissi Palmer will also be given the Lift Every Voice Award for her continued efforts to promote diversity in country music and her support in helping shape the careers of artists of color.
