Dolly Parton’s Niece To Become The Estate’s Brand Ambassador
The Dolly Parton Estate has officially named Dolly Parton’s niece, Danielle Parton, as its newest brand ambassador.
Danielle has served as a commercial airline pilot and military veteran, and “embodies the quick wit, strong work ethic and independent spirit that have made her aunt, Dolly Parton, an enduring cultural icon,” according to a press release from the estate.
After serving 20 years in the military, Danielle turned her entrepreneurial vision toward the business world, founding Shine Girl, a moonshine distillery and retail destination in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

Dolly and Danielle shared a close family bond, and Dolly even delivered a speech at Danielle’s military retirement in 2025.
Now, Danielle is stepping into a new role that will allow her to help celebrate Dolly’s legacy and connect with fans around the world. In an Instagram reel posted on Thursday, October 22, Danielle explained more about what stepping into this very important role means to her.
“I’m not crazy enough to try to fill her shoes. God knows I couldn’t walk on them without killing myself,” Danielle said in the video. “What I can do is share the woman that I knew. I can tell some of the stories of her, the stories behind the global icon, and support the people carrying forward the work that she cared for and created to make sure what she built continues to bring people joy.”

Danielle is the daughter of Dolly’s brother, Bobby Lee Parton and Doris Maxine Noland, and according to the release, “will help celebrate her aunt’s enduring legacy while sharing her own story and perspective with fans.”
The 50 year old reflected on her close relationship with Dolly, explaining that while the world knew her as a country music legend, she would always be “Aunt Granny” to her. Danielle also recalled how Dolly’s love, encouragement and belief in dreaming big helped shape her life.
“Being a Parton means hard work, big dreams and never forgetting where you came from. I’m proud to be part of that legacy and to carry it on in my own way. 🩷,” her caption reads.
