Turning Point USA Announces Return To Campus Tours Following Charlie Kirk’s Death
on Sep 22, 2025

Turning Point USA To Continue The Mission Of Founder Charlie Kirk
Less than two weeks after the death of founder and CEO Charlie Kirk, Turning Point USA will return to college campuses.
Charlie Kirk, a conservative commentator and entrepreneur, was shot and killed at Utah Valley University on September 10th. The 31-year-old was known for his pursuit of constructive discourse by encouraging those with opposing viewpoints to join him in a respectful debate.

Millions mourned the death of the influential figure, and nearly 100,000 gathered in Arizona on Sunday, September 21, to attend his public memorial service. The crowd was one of the largest ever recorded for the funeral of a private citizen.
In the wake of his murder, Kirk’s friends, colleagues, and supporters have vowed to continue his mission. On Monday, September 22, TPUSA announced that the college campus tour will continue on the originally scheduled dates in honor of the slain leader.
Michael Knowles To Appear In Place Of Charlie Kirk At The University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
The first event of the newly-renamed Turning Point Tour will take place tonight, September 22, at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Conservative commentator, author, and media host Michael Knowles will lead the event in place of Kirk. He told Fox & Friends:
“I will appear tonight. There will be an empty chair on stage. I will give a tribute to Charlie, and then we will open up the floor to an open conversation. Charlie’s enemies will not have stopped that. People who disagree can, like at all of his events, cut to the front of the line, and we will continue to have a healthy debate.”
Knowles is currently the host of The Michael Knowles Show at The Daily Wire and The Book Club at PragerU.
