Uncle Kracker & Wife Welcome Baby Boy

On September 29, Uncle Kracker, born Matthew Shafer, revealed on Instagram that he and his wife are expecting a child together, but he’d actually spilled the beans in a radio interview over the summer!
“Coming soon to a theater near me! ?? 4 weeks an we get to meet this little guy. So pumped!” he wrote alongside a 3-D ultra sound picture.

As promised, four weeks later – on October 29 – he and his wife welcomed a baby boy. They named him Ford William Shafer.
Ford joins 4-year-old brother Miles, and three older sisters, Skylar, Madison, and Troy, who are 15, 19, and 21. Uncle Kracker shares his daughters with ex-wife Melanie Haas.
In the birth announcement on Instagram, the singer wrote, “Miles and the girls got themselves a shiny new little brother last night! Mama is doing great. She and Ford are resting and Daddy is on the moon. Welcome to this mess of ours buddy. Now let’s go have fun.”
