Just before noon EST on Wednesday, Sept. 9, singer-songwriter Koe Wetzel posted that he has had to make the “difficult decision to reschedule” his shows this weekend.
Citing an “unexpected family emergency back home,” his shows scheduled for Sept. 10, Sept. 11, and Sept. 12 have been rescheduled.
The nature of the family emergency was not disclosed.
“I hate having to make this call, especially knowing how many of y’all have made plans to come see us,” Koe wrote on Instagram. “I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience and really appreciate your understanding and support right now.”
While tickets for the shows in question remain available on his website, Koe’s post notes that “all previously purchased tickets will be honored for the new dates.”
The rescheduled dates are:
- Sept. 16 in Wilmington, North Carolina (replacing the Sept. 12 show);
- Oct. 22 in Knoxville, Tennessee (replacing the Sept. 10 show); and
- Oct. 23 in Greensboro, North Carolina (replacing the Sept. 11 show).
