Charlie Kirk Continues To Inspire The World
Since his death almost two weeks ago, conservative influencer and Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk has inspired millions of people around the world.
Kirk co-founded Turning Point USA seeking to inspire the younger generation to embrace free speech. According to its website, Turning Point’s mission is to “identify, educate, train, and organize students to promote the principles of freedom, free markets, and limited government.”
Kirk was shot and killed while doing what he was passionate about the most, speaking on a college campus in Orem, Utah.
In the wake of his death, people are not only remembering the 31-year-old and his remarkable legacy, but strengthening and diving deeper into their own faith as well.
Nearly 90,000 people gathered at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona for his memorial service Sunday (September 21), which included hours of incredible worship and many heartfelt speeches.
Vice President JD Vance Shares How His Faith Has Strengthened Since Kirk’s Death
Vice President JD Vance spoke at the memorial, explaining how he has never been more vocal about his faith in Kirk’s honor.
“I was telling somebody backstage that I always felt a little uncomfortable talking about my faith in public,” he said. “As much as I love the Lord, and as much as it was an important part of my life, I have talked more about Jesus Christ in the past two weeks than I have my entire time in public life.”
Vance shared how Kirk always shared the truth of Christ, and he not only told others about the truth, but he lived it.
“Charlie understood that the best evangilization was not in what you said, but in how you lived your life,” Vance said. “He lived the three decades he had on this earth with a sense of Christian virtue that would make any man, any person proud.”
Vance Hosts The Charlie Kirk Show
On Sunday, September 14, Vance announced he would be hosting The Charlie Kirk Show on September 15.
Airing on Salem News Channel, and streaming on YouTube, Rumble, Apple Podcasts, and Spotify, The Charlie Kirk Show began in 2019 and was often among the top political podcasts.
Typically, Charlie hosted his show from his studio in Phoenix, Arizona, which is where Turning Point USA’s headquarters is located.
“I’m filling in for somebody who cannot be filled in for, but I’m going to try to do my best,” Vance said, adding that Kirk was his “dear friend.”
Days prior to this broadcast, Vance escorted Kirk’s wife, Erika, on Air Force 2 to transport Kirk’s remains to Phoenix for burial.
