Jake Hoot is now a married man!

The winner of Season 17 of The Voice married labor and delivery nurse Brittney Hoyt during a gorgeous ceremony at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee on Sunday (March 7).

Jake and Brittney first met years ago when they were both singers at a friend’s wedding. They later reconnected and fell in love, and they fell for each other fast.

The couple got engaged in September 2020. Jake shared his excitement in a post on social media, saying his young daughter, Macy “was pretty excited too.”

Jake and Brittney have been counting down the days to their wedding ever since.

The couple wrote their own vows to recite during the ceremony. Hoot performed an original song for Brittney during his vows, called “Hallelujah.”

They also each said vows to Macy, who is now five years old.

During the reception, Jake surprised his new bride with another song he co-wrote for her, called “And Then Suddenly.” He shared the song with her for their first dance. Brittney told People she “wept like a baby” when he did.
