“Voice” Champion Jake Hoot & Wife Brittney Welcome Baby Girl

Congratulations are in order for Voice winner Jake Hoot and his wife Brittney!

Jake and Brittney first met years ago when they were both singers at a friend’s wedding. Life took them in different directions from there. Brittney worked as a labor and delivery nurse, while Jake went on to win Season 17 of The Voice.

The two reconnected after Jake won The Voice, and a romance blossomed. They got engaged in September 2020 and were married in March 2021. The couple also said vows to Jake’s then-five-year-old daughter, Macy.

Then, in March 2022, Jake and Brittney announced they were expecting their first child together. They shared the news in a video that shows Jake singing an original song.

Both Brittney and Macy appeared in the video. They held up signs with the songs lyrics, with the final sign saying, “Baby Hoot Comin Soon 2022.”

Jake and Brittney did not find out ahead of time if they were expecting a boy or a girl. So they referred to their baby as “Little Feet” throughout Brittney’s pregnancy.

The couple shared some adorable maternity photos over the months. Just a few days ago, Brittney shared a picture of Macy hugging her baby bump and captioned it, “Macy is going to be THE BEST big sister and treat this angel baby like it’s her very own.”

But the fans had no idea that at the time Brittney shared that picture, baby Little Feet was already here!

Jake and Brittney announced on Sunday (July 31) that their baby was born on July 24. Brittney gave birth to a baby girl, and they named her Madilyn Bri Hoot.

“Well we did a thang last week! World, meet little Miss Madilyn Bri. We couldnt be more in love,” Jake captioned a sweet picture of him gazing at his baby girl.

Brittney posted a picture that shows her holding Madilyn on her chest after she was born. Your heart will melt when you see the look of pure joy on Brittney’s face:

“One week ago today, I experienced the biggest miracle of my life!” Brittney wrote in the photo’s caption. “We welcomed our ‘Little Feet’ into the world, and could not be more in love with her! She’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever known. I never knew that my capacity to love someone could become so deep, and this profound…She’s more than we ever dreamt of. We love you so much our little angel and can’t believe we get to love you forever!“
