‘Voice’ Coach’s Entire Team Eliminated Ahead Of Finale
on May 14, 2024
The Voice Season 25 finalists have been named, but one coach has no contestants vying for the title.
The Voice’s Top 9 semi-finalists took the stage Monday night (May 13) where they performed hometown tributes in hopes of earning enough of America’s votes to advance to next week’s finale.
During Tuesday’s episode, host Carson Daly revealed which four contestants received enough votes to become a finalist. Those safe were: Team Dan + Shay’s Karen Waldrup, Team Legend’s Nathan Chester, and Asher HaVon and Josh Sanders of Team Reba.
The remaining five hopefuls performed once more to earn Instant Save votes. For five minutes after the last performance, voting lines were opened so that viewers could have a say in which of the artists in danger would advance to the finale. Bryan Oleson (Team Legend), Madison Curbelo (Team Dan +Shay), Tae Lewis (Team Dan + Shay), Serenity Arce (Team Chance), Maddi Jane (Team Chance) all sang for the Instant Save.
But, only one artist could be saved, and that artist was Team Legend’s Bryan Oleson.

The shocking results wiped out the last of coach Chance the Rapper’s team. Ahead of Tuesday’s episode, Dan + Shay had the most artists still in the running with three. But, their lead was quickly overcome as they lost two acts during the results show.
NBC Announces Star-Studded Finale Lineup
Each of the five finalists will perform again Monday, May 20. They will be tasked with singing a ballad and an uptempo song in hopes of garnering enough of America’s votes overnight to secure The Voice title. Keith Urban and the U.S. Army Field Band will also perform Monday night.
Tuesday, May 21, will feature a star-studded lineup that includes finalist duets with their coaches and performances from guest artists such as Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Kate Hudson, Thomas Rhett and more.
In honor of the show’s 25th season, former coaches will appear to celebrate the occasion. Kelly Clarkson, CeeLo Green, Niall Horan, Jennifer Hudson, Nick Jonas, Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, and Gwen Stefani are among those listed to appear either via video or in-person.
Tune into NBC next week to see who will be the next The Voice champion!
