Cari McGillivray was traveling down a highway in Canada when she pulled over her vehicle to film two large grizzly bears battling it out on the road.

She shared the footage to Facebook saying, “Don’t normally post on here but thought I’d share this incredibly rare and amazing moment with all you guys of these grizzlies fighting!”

Taken on Cassiar Highway near Stewart, British Columbia, Canada, the video showed the two grizzly bears squaring up to each other and growling on the side of the road.

As things got more intense between the two wild animals, they ended up standing straight up on their back legs like a human does and growled at each other until the smaller bear pushed the larger one.

They pushed each other around some more until the larger bear bit down on the smaller bear’s neck fur and slipped on the wet pavement, causing it to land on the ground and forcing the smaller bear down with it.

They got back up still holding onto one another and the bigger bear ended up pushing the smaller one off the road and slamming it into the grass.

They fought a little more there and back on the road before the little bear ran off trying to get away as the big bear chased it and they both ran off-camera.

If you look in the distance on the road during the entire battle, you can see there was a wolf circling and watching them duel it out from a distance.

“Keep a sharp eye out for the little wolf that is observing them in the distance!” Cari wrote on Facebook.
