Twins Nikki and Brie Bella have been doing everything together since, well, birth.
Known to the world as The Bella Twins, Nikki and Brie began wrestling in the WWE in 2007. Throughout their career, Nikki has won the Diva Championship twice and Brie has won it once. They became extremely popular in 2013 when the reality show Total Divas premiered on E! The show took viewers on an inside look at female wrestling in the WWE.
The twins then got a spin-off show called Total Bellas, which showed their lives as sisters, business owners (they started a lifestyle brand and a wine label together), and as a wife and mom, in Brie’s case. She married fellow wrestler Bryan Danielson and they welcomed daughter Birdie on May 9, 2017.
In both Total Divas and Total Bellas, Nikki’s relationship with John Cena began and ended. Total Bellas also showed her finding new love with her dance partner from her time on Dancing With The Stars, Artem Chingvintsev. The two became engaged in November, but announced it on January 3, 2020.
In a surprise announcement via PEOPLE on Wednesday (Jan 29), both Bella twins have revealed that they are expecting – and their duet dates are only a week and a half apart!
In her Instagram post, Nikki revealed she is 13 weeks pregnant and has been pretty sick the entire first trimester. Already so “IN LOVE” with the baby, the former wrestler says, “I thank God every day and night for bringing this amazing blessing and miracle into my life!”
She also wrote a little something for her twin sister, saying, “This life just wants you and I to be twinning at everything we do lol and even though we were shocked, beyond shocked, here’s another journey that I am so grateful to God to have you by my side.”
Nikki continued, “[Artem,] your pure joy, bliss, love and happiness has meant everything to me! To already watch you step up to be the best Dad for this little one makes my heart smile so big! I know we aren’t husband and wife yet but I love our commitment to this child already.”
After the PEOPLE interview went live, Chingvintsev took to Instagram to post the following announcement.
