Wynonna Judd’s daughter, Grace Kelley, says she’s on a better path after getting sober.

Kelley has faced multiple arrests over the past decade, dating all the way back to 2015 when she was arrested on a federal charge for manufacturing meth.

In 2024 alone, she was arrested three times.

That April, she was taken into custody in Alabama on two charges, including indecent exposure and obstructing governmental operations. A few months after that, she faced three misdemeanor charges for fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and improper use of motorcycle equipment.

Her most recent arrest came in October 2024, when she was accused of stealing a church van and trailer in Virginia.

But according to the 29-year-old, this became her wake-up call. In a recent interview with The Daily Progress, Kelley shared how her current life has changed and how she was inspired to get sober.

“I got a hold of some bad drugs,” she said, recalling the incident.

She explained that before stealing the van, she had been “hallucinating.”

Kelley said that she had fallen asleep in the church’s trailer without anyone knowing. When it was driven to the pastor’s residence, she woke up feeling like she needed to run away.

“It was like Texas Chainsaw Massacre in my mind,” she added.

Kelley spent six weeks in jail after taking a plea deal in December, according to the outlet.

But it’s all become a full circle moment. The church she stole the van from, the Charlottesville Ground Zero Church of the Nazarene, has actually played a huge role in helping Kelley stay sober.

Part of her plea deal required Kelley to stay away from the church. However, Pastor Kent Hart felt that wasn’t what she needed. After her release from jail, he reached out and welcomed her into their community.

“If it wasn’t for Pastor Kent and [his wife] Megan Hart, I would still be out there using,” Kelley admits. “I’d still be out there doing the same thing I was.”

Fast forward, and Grace Kelley has now been sober for nine months. She’s also become an active member and even got baptized there.

“My entire life, the reason I travel so much is I was looking for home. But ever since I came to Charlottesville and I gave my life to God — oh, man, it’s just beautiful. I love it here,” she said.
