Zac Brown Band Shocks 37,000 Fans By Giving Them All A Free Cruise
on Aug 03, 2026

Fans who attended Zac Brown Band’s recent concert walked away with a gift of a lifetime.
On Sunday night, August 2, Zac Brown Band played a sold-out show at Fenway Park. It was their 15th sold-out show at the stadium, with more than 37,000 people there.
Obviously, this is an incredible achievement, and it says a lot about the loyal fans who have supported ZBB over the years. But what the audience didn’t know was that the band had a big surprise planned to thank them.
Zac Brown Band’s Gift To 37,000 Fans
Before singing his 2022 Jimmy Buffett duet “Same Boat,” Zac Brown revealed that every concertgoer would be getting a completely free cruise. The vacation will take place aboard the Margaritaville at Sea.
“Tonight we’re going to do something that even Jimmy would say is crazy,” Brown said. “I’m buying every single person here a cruise for two people on the boat. This is the biggest giveaway in history ladies and gentlemen, right here tonight at Fenway Park!”
The surprise is estimated to cost more than $40 million, with the entire thing paid for by Brown himself. It’s now considered the largest audience giveaway in entertainment history.
The lucky fans will have 12 months to claim their cruise and bring a guest of their choice.

And even if you weren’t at the Fenway show, you still have a chance to win. ZBB will continue giving away four cruises at each remaining show on their tour.
The band can make this happen thanks to their Love & Fear Tour being sponsored by Margaritaville at Sea. They still have 24 shows left, with the final stop happening on November 21 in Rosemont, Illinois.
ZBB has been making history a lot lately. Earlier this year, they launched their Love & Fear residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas. They performed eight shows to celebrate the release of their eighth studio album and were the first country band ever to headline the venue.
