Zach Bryan Swears Off Kansas City

Zach Bryan recently dropped some bad news for his fans who live in Kansas City.

On Friday, August 8, Bryan found himself in an online argument with a few Kansas City Chiefs fans, which ended with him saying he would never perform in the city again.

It all began when the “Something In The Orange” singer, who is a devoted Philadelphia Eagles supporter, posted a jab at the Chief’s fanbase on his X account.

“Where are all the three-peat people from last year?” Bryan wrote.

Bryan’s question referred to the possibility of the Chiefs becoming the first NFL team to win three Super Bowls in a row, but the Eagles defeated them in the 2025 game.

Bryan’s post caught the attention of many Chiefs fans, and they were not happy about it. Several of them replied directly to the 29-year-old’s dig. A few of the responses said:

“The Chiefs won more Super Bowls in a 5 year span than the Eagles have won in franchise history.”

“3 Super Bowl wins 5 seasons. Eagles have won 2 in their 70 year history. Sit down Eagles fan from Oklahoma.”

“just another abusive Eagles fan, nothing to see here”

In the middle of all the backlash, Bryan ended up responding to one user who said he had “singled out” the “same fanbase that sells out his shows.”

It was then that Bryan vowed he would never perform in Kansas City.

“Please understand I will never play in Kansas City,” Bryan replied.

Bryan then added in a separate post, “I’ll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.”

The same person Bryan replied to later asked him to remove the track “Fifth of May (Live from Kansas City)” from his 24 (Live) album if he truly felt that way.

Bryan responded simply, “Done brother.”

Bryan continued to post about the topic throughout the day, saying things like:

“Bro all u have to do to piss off a chiefs fan is play a fair game of football.”

“Guys it’s okay to talk trash to each other about football yall are weird as hell.”

This Isn’t The Only Online Feud He’s Been Involved In Over The Past Few Weeks

At the end of last month, Zach Bryan was involved in a feud on TikTok with a fan who posted a couple of videos about being upset that they weren’t able to meet him after a show at MetLife Stadium.

When the videos reached Bryan, he ended up responding. However, many people felt his replies were too harsh. Apparently, the fan was only 14 years old.

The situation escalated even further when fellow country singer Gavin Adcock weighed in on the situation, criticizing Bryan’s behavior.

“If you can’t handle the criticism of a 14 year old why do people idolize you?” Adcock wrote.

“That kid was head over heels to meet you and spent/ parents spent a ton of money to see you. He’s got feeling too and a you’re a “grown man” nearly 30. They’re the only reason you are around.”
