Viewers Are Obsessed with this High School Football Player’s Cover of Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange”

Logan Clough, a senior at Herrin High School in Herrin, Illinois, has garnered the attention of millions with his cover of Zach Bryan’s “Something In The Orange.” The football player performed the song in front of a packed gymnasium for the school’s Talent Show, earning him the title of Mr. HHS Homecoming 2023.

If that accomplishment alone isn’t enough to be a core memory in the teen’s life, the video of the performance, originally posted to TikTok, has racked up over 4 million views in just three days. The student body can be heard joining in and singing along with Clough during his performance.

Logan Clough Is No Stranger To Playing Covers

While it appears Clough is not very active on social media himself, his mother, Summer Lawrence Clough, regularly posts videos of her son singing and playing guitar to her TikTok and YouTube pages. However this cover seems to be the first that has gone viral.

It is safe to say this teen has great taste in music as he can be seen covering songs from Tyler Childers and Wyatt Flores as well as Zach Bryan. Whatever comes next for Clough, his future is certainly bright!

“Something In The Orange” was originally released by Zach Bryan in April 2022 and was certified Platinum in July 2023. Check out Zach Bryan’s original version of “Something In The Orange” below.
