Zach Top Releases His Second Full-Length Studio Album

Rising star Zach Top has released his highly anticipated sophomore album Ain’t In It For My Health. Often praised for reviving a classic country sound in a new generation, the Washington native credits Marty Robbins and George Jones as some of his biggest musical inspirations.

The 27-year-old confirmed news of the album earlier this summer on the same day that he released the lead single “Good Times & Tan Lines.” The feel-good summer tune is reminiscent of 90s country hits like Alan Jackson’s “Chattahoochee” and Tracy Byrd’s “Watermelon Crawl.”

Later, he showed his versatility and dropped a melancholy tune titled “South of Sanity,” which wrestles with losing a love while living life on the road.

Top’s debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, was released in April 2024 and reached the number-four spot on the US Top Country Albums chart. The project contained the hit songs “Sounds Like The Radio” and “I Never Lie.” It later earned an Album of the Year nomination at the 60th annual Academy of Country Music Awards.

Along with the release of Ain’t In It For My Health, Top wrote:

“It’s finally here… I hope you love it just as much as I do.”
