Blake Shelton Gives RaeLynn Heartwarming Advice That We All Can Live By

Blake Shelton and new country artist RaeLynn have been buddies since she competed as part of Team Blake on season two of NBC’s The Voice.
The spunky 21 year old is set to marry her fiance Josh Davis on February 27, 2015 in Nashville for a winter themed wedding. She has picked the dress, colors, the venue, and even picked up some advice from one of her favorite mentors.
In an interview with PEOPLE, RaeLynn mentioned the best advice she has ever received from Shelton.
“My favorite thing he’s always told me is to never change who I am,” she says. “He’s like, “One thing I love about you Rae is that you always stay true to who you are, don’t change that … Always remember what you want to say, don’t ever change, don’t let this town change you, because that’s what made this town love you, the person you are.'”
Shelton is too sweet! That is great advice for RaeLynn to remember, not just in her career, but now that she is heading down the aisle. We wish her and Josh all the happiness in the world!
