Y’all have heard the radio-version of this unforgettable chart-topping hit, but we’re willing to bet you haven’t ever heard the remix!

When two of our favorite country singers, Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry, were teamed up with a record label run by another country star, they issued some killer hits – but when the label added Colt Ford into the mix, things got real wild!

Montgomery Gentry first released “Where I Come From” as the first single from their 2011 album Rebels on the Run and it instantly became a hit with country music fans for it’s hard-rocking tribute to Southern pride.

Ford, who was part owner of the record label they were signed to, obviously loved the song and next thing you know – a remix was born!

“Where I Come From (Remix) Feat. Colt Ford & The Lacs” first made an appearance on Montgomery Gentry’s 2012 EP Friends and Family which featured several other new songs and collaborations, but was only available as a digital download.

Amping up the beat and cranking the heat on this already awesome Southern rock jam, this fan-favorite remix will ensure that this song makes it onto your tailgate playlist.

Check out the full “Where I Come From” remix below and if you don’t have a copy of their Friends and Family EP, you can find it here!
