13-Year-Old Viral Star Sings Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl”

TikTok sensation Rilee shows off her singing talent once again to cover Carrie Underwood’s 2012 “Good Girl.”

The original video was posted to @thesingingbarber‘s TikTok account on December 26, which is known for its rising popularity as customers showcase their singing talents during haircuts.

The unexpected performance garnered the attention of huge names in country music, including Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen, Jelly Roll, and Lainey Wilson herself!

The artists each left encouraging comments on the video, giving props to Rilee for her singing and cheering her on to keep doing her thing.

Luke Combs: “You killed that Rilee! Keep it up.”

Morgan Wallen:  “She got something special! Keep goin.”

Jelly Roll: “She sounds incredible to be so young! Tell her keep chasing that dream, keep singing from the soul young lady!”

Lainey Wilson: “Let’s go!!! Sing it girl.”

After snagging the spotlight on TikTok and getting noticed by big names in country music, Rilee made a comeback in the barber chair, treating her audience to another performance. This time, to cover a popular Carrie Underwood song.

Noah Peters kicked off the video by saying,  “You broke the internet last time,” and Rilee replied with a big smile on her face, “I know. I can’t believe it!”

The caption on the video reads, “Oh my gosh yalllll. Rilee is blown away at this over 5 million views. She is only 13 years old !! Thank you to Noah Krista and Daniel and to everybody for all the likes and follows. We cannot believe Lainey Wilson, jelly roll, & Luke combs commented on our first video. #sweetRilee”

TikTok commenters once again loved getting to see Rilee in the barber chair covering another country song.

Background On Carrie Underwood’s “Good Girl”

“Good Girl” was written by Chris DeStefano, Ashley Gorley, and Underwood herself. Released as the lead single from her fourth studio album, Blown Away (2012), it debuted at the annual Country Radio Seminar in Nashville on February 23, 2012.

Following the live performance, the song was sent to country radio stations and made available for digital download. It officially impacted country radio on February 27, 2012, and later released to Hot AC radio on April 23, 2012.
