The Ohio State Marching Band were with the alumni band creating the full group of 600 total members and they each took turns performing on the field.

Throughout the performance, they walked in synchronized steps forming things like cowboy hats, cowboy boots, a cowboy playing the guitar, and two cowboys dancing together.

They even formed a cornfield with a tractor driving down the middle of it. The alumni band members later traded places with them on the field and formed themselves into a truck that had spinning wheels and drove across the field.

Ohio State Marching Band played songs like Florida Georgia Line’s “Cruise,” Carrie Underwood’s “Cowboy Casanova,” Tim McGraw’s “I Like It, I Love It,” Garth Brooks’ “Friends in Low Places,” Rascal Flatts’ “Me and My Gang,” and Jason Aldean’s “My Kinda Party.”

The alumni band played Tom Cochrane’s “Life Is A Highway,” and Darius Rucker’s “Wagon Wheel.”

It was the first time the bands joined together in a halftime performance at a game since 2019. Ohio State Buckeyes ended up winning 59-7 against the Akron Zips.
