Country Star Darryl Worley To Open New Luxury Tiny Home Resort Just Miles From Fort Rucker

Darryl Worley, the country artist behind iconic hits such as “I Miss My Friend” and “Have You Forgotten,” has broken ground on a tiny home resort community in Enterprise, Alabama.

The “Awful Beautiful Life” Luxury Tiny Home Resort (named after Worley’s #1 hit released in 2004) plans to welcome its first guests in the Spring of 2026.

Each year, over 12 million vehicles pass through a 75-mile corridor on their way to the Florida panhandle. The “Awful Beautiful Life” resort has a prime location in the middle of that corridor, just miles from Fort Rucker Army base.

Worley, a longtime supporter of the U.S. military, hopes the new resort will offer convenient lodging to contractors, family members, and guests visiting Fort Rucker and the popular Army Aviation Museum.

“I won’t forget getting that phone call from my dear friend Ronnie Gilley as he shared this incredible vision with me last year,” Worley said in a press release about the tiny home resort. “I’ve done lots of good things with Ronnie, but this one sparked something in me as I knew we could help the families of those stationed at Fort Rucker.”

Worley added:

“We’re building a project that’s a two-for-one for the military. One, there is a constant need for short-term lodging due to the constant in and out flow to and from the base and, two, we are building a lifestyle community with 5-star amenities, while also delivering a home option for the military at an incredibly affordable price.”

Guests Will Enjoy Top-Tier Amenities At The “Awful Beautiful Life” Resort

75 tiny homes will be included in Darryl Worley’s “Awful Beautiful Life” resort. Guests staying in the tiny homes will enjoy top-tier amenities, including a lagoon pool, dog walking park, pickleball court, event center, fitness center, cornhole court, clubhouse, and chill lounge.

Additionally, the resort will feature a 24/7 security gate to ensure guest privacy and safety.

While guests will be staying in tiny homes, each unit is designed for entertaining. The homes have kitchens, dedicated sitting areas, and covered porches with large overhangs.

“You know, the previous administration drove home prices and interest rates through the roof. That prompted Ronnie to come up with a very special, unique and different product that is going to be a perfect fit for our military!” Worley said. “I might also add, the lifestyle Awful Beautiful Life Resort is creating will also be very inviting to the massive migration of retirees that are moving south in record breaking numbers!”
