Baby Cow Stuck In Forked Tree Rescued By Hiker

Missouri man Nolan Fogle was out for a hike with his young son when they came across a surprise – a calf stuck in a forked tree.

There’s no way to know how long the calf had been stuck there, and Fogle had no way to know how the calf would react to a stranger trying to help him.

If the calf stayed in the tree, there was no way he would have made it out on his own. Fogle decided that he needed to step in and save the calf’s life.

He calmly approached the calf, and spoke gently and quietly while holding his hand out to show the young cow showing he meant no harm.

After giving the calf a few reassuring head pats, Fogle got to work on freeing the animal. He had to break away some twigs from the tree, and the proceeded to carefully guide the calf’s head upward.

After freeing the calf from the tree, Fogle provided some water and returned the calf to its family. Despite being stuck in the tree for an unknown amount of time, the calf was in good health, and undoubtedly thankful for Fogle’s help.
