Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler’s Story Continues In New Show Dutton Ranch
Yellowstone fans were ecstatic when Paramount+ announced the Beth and Rip spin-off show Dutton Ranch (formerly The Dutton Ranch) not long after the hit show’s series finale in December 2024.
On March 13, the Dutton Ranch social media account released the show poster with the caption, “Texas you’re on notice. Beth and Rip are coming.”
Variety reported that the show’s log line reads:
“Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler are grateful for the peace they sought, fought, and nearly died for with their 7,000-acre Dutton Ranch. With tough times and stiff competition, Beth and Rip do what they must to survive, all while ensuring Carter [played by Finn Little] becomes the man he’s supposed to be.”
The show follows them as they start their new life on the Texas ranch they bought in the final season of Yellowstone.
Dutton Ranch will star Kelly Reilly as Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser as Rip Wheeler. New characters will be played by Academy Award nominees Annette Bening and Ed Harris. Juan Pablo Raba, Jai Courtney, J.R. Villarreal, Marc Menchaca, and Natalie Alyn Lind round out the cast.
Dutton Ranch Releases First Teaser
On March 23, Dutton Ranch released its first teaser, and it looks just as intense as Yellowstone was. One of the first clips is of Beth walking with a gun in her hand, so it’s safe to say she hasn’t changed a bit!
The teaser includes bodies dragging in the dirt, bar fights, explosions, hostile confrontations, guns, and Carter getting a romantic connection!
Fans were thrilled to see the surprise teaser, with one of the top comments being, “Beth and Rip are back Baby!!!!!”
An updated log line from Paramount+ reads:
“As Beth and Rip fight to build a future together – far from the ghosts of Yellowstone – they collide with brutal new realities and a ruthless rival ranch that will stop at nothing to protect its empire. In South Texas, blood runs deeper, forgiveness is fleeting, and the cost of survival might just be your soul.”

When Will Dutton Ranch Premiere?
The teaser also revealed when Dutton Ranch will premiere the first two episodes on Paramount+: Friday, May 15.
While the show is a Paramount+ original, it will air on Paramount Network beginning May 15, at 8pm ET/PT.
