Ole Red Las Vegas, Blake Shelton’s sixth and largest venue, is set to open its doors next January.

Inspired by Opry member Blake Shelton‘s No. 1 hit, “Ol’ Red,” Ole Red is a restaurant, live music outlet, and retail space made to give you the full country experience. The newest location, Ole Red Las Vegas, is officially opening in January 2024.

A $30 Million Country Music Heaven

Ole Red Las Vegas, the latest addition to Shelton’s bar portfolio, stands as the sixth in the lineup. Situated at a prime spot in front of the Horseshoe and at the intersection of one of the city’s most bustling areas, this $30 million, 27,000-square-foot establishment boasts four stories of culinary delights and musical entertainment.

Additionally, it features a 4,500-square-foot rooftop bar offering panoramic views of the Las Vegas skyline. Positioned directly opposite the renowned Bellagio fountains, it’s a prime location for visitors seeking both lively experiences and iconic views.

“If you are going to do something here, you’ve got to do it big,” Shelton shared in a press release for the Ole Red website. “Every time I’m in Vegas, I want some country music and Ole Red is the remedy for that.”

During an exclusive tour of the space with PEOPLE, Shelton reflected on how far the venue, which was first announced in 2021, has now come.

“The last time I stood in this spot, I mean it was literally just a hole in the ground. We’ve come a long way.”

Standing in the center of the Last Vegas Strip, Shelton showed off the under-construction building, excited for what’s to come.

“I’ve seen this phase of the process enough times to know that I can picture it now and there’s similarities to all the Ole Reds, and there’s some similarities to… Nashville with the balcony that looks down on the stage and the bar placement and all that stuff,” he explains.“But it’s also just so much bigger. I mean, this is a giant, and so I don’t know that I would say I’m emotional, but it is overwhelming and it’s hard for me to take it all in right now and just accept that this is really happening and we’re almost to the finish line.”

Just like his other establishments, Ole Red Las Vegas will offer live music every night, with Shelton himself committing to gracing the stage. In fact, he intends to be the inaugural performer on opening night, lighting up the stage with his presence.

“I don’t want anybody singing on this stage before I do. I want to break it in.”
