Blake Shelton Is Still Madly In Love With His Wife
Country superstar Blake Shelton admits he still gets “butterflies” every time he sees his enormously talented wife, Gwen Stefani.
Joining TODAY’s Jenna Bush Hager and guest co-host Erin Andrews to talk about his new album For Recreational Use Only, Shelton said what he is most impressed with, though, is Stefani’s incredibly successful and long-lasting career.
“But I’ll tell you what really blows me away about her, cause I know her as, as my wife, and then, but then I go to one of her concerts and it’s just, I can never get used to that, that she’s that, she’s also that,” the singer said.
Shelton gushed that it’s “unbelievable” Stefani has been able to write and release so many hit songs after decades of being in the music industry.
“She’s just got this amazing catalog of songs that she’s written about her life. It’s just unbelievable,” he continued.
Blake And Gwen’s Sweet Love Story
Shelton has been madly in love with Stefani from the time the two became a couple in 2015, collaborating on over 6 duets together to date.
“I wish everybody could have a chance to meet and talk to Gwen Stefani at some point in their life because you’ll just be a better person for it, is the only way I know to say it,” he said to PEOPLE in 2022. “She’s just a magical person to be around. She really is one of a kind and I … That’s another one of those things. How could you even dream that? You know? And it happened.”
The two singers were married on July 3, 2021 during an intimate ceremony in Oklahoma, with Voice host Carson Daly officiating.
