Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani started dating in 2015. They fell in love on The Voice after bonding over their shared heartache following their respective divorces.
The country singer from Oklahoma and the pop star from California seemed like an unlikely pair…even to each other! But they’ve since coached several more seasons of The Voice together, recorded six duets, and built a home in Oklahoma.
Then in 2021, the cowboy and his queen said “I do” during an intimate wedding on their property. Blake wrote a song he sung to Gwen during their vows, called “We Can Reach the Stars.”
He eventually released the song to the public.
After two years of marriage and eight years together, Blake and Gwen have shared many romantic moments with the world. Revisit ten of those sweet and special moments below.
When Blake and Gwen attended the Grammys in 2020 they stopped to talk to Entertainment Tonight. Gwen gushed about Blake during the interview, saying:
“He saved my entire life… He makes me laugh and smile and is just the greatest guy.”
Blake did a happy dance after hearing Gwen say such sweet things about him. It was adorable!

Blake and Gwen got engaged on October 17, 2020. They announced the happy news ten days later.
Blake popped the question in a church he built for Gwen on their Oklahoma property. When he announced their engagement, he said, “Hey @gwenstefani thanks for saving my 2020… And the rest of my life.. I love you. I heard a YES!”

Blake celebrated his 45th birthday in 2021. Gwen surprised him by inviting their closest friends and family to a party in his honor.
Videos and photos Gwen shared on social media show how happy Blake was to be surprised on his birthday. She also posted a picture of them kissing while Blake wore a birthday tiara!
Blake and Gwen married on July 3, 2021. They tied the knot during an intimate ceremony held on their property in Oklahoma. Voice host Carson Daly served as the officiant.
Gwen wore a customized veil that had her and Blake’s names embroidered on the bottom, along with the names of her three songs: Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo.

Just two weeks after they married, Blake and Gwen turned up for some surprise performances at Blake’s Ole Red restaurant in Tishomingo, Oklahoma. The newlyweds were glowing with joy as they performed some of their duets.
In one adorable moment, Blake “incorrectly” introduced his new bride as “Gwen Stefani.” She playfully corrected him, saying, “I thought it was Gwen Shelton now!”

In 2022, Blake entertained his and Gwen’s Easter guests by dressing in a silly pink bunny suit. The “Easter Blakey” was such a hit, Blake decided to bring the suit back out for Easter in 2023.
Stefani shared some clips from their Easter celebration, including one of her kissing Blake in the bunny suit. So sweet!

Blake and Gwen love celebrating the holidays together. During the Christmas season in 2022, the couple teamed up to make some delicious gingerbread cookies.
Gwen shared a video on social media to document their cookie baking process. She set the clip to the tune of their own holiday duet, “You Make It Feel Like Christmas.” That made it even more endearing!

The Season 23 finale of The Voice was Blake’s last episode ever. He left the show after serving as a coach for all of its 23 seasons.
Since Blake and Gwen met and fell in love on The Voice, the show means a lot to them. Gwen was unable to attend the Season 23 finale, so she filmed a special video to congratulate her husband.
In the clip, Gwen sweetly reflected on their unexpected love story and how they’ve only grown closer over time.

Although Gwen couldn’t attend Blake’s final episode of The Voice, she made it back in time for the after-party. But Blake wasn’t expecting her, so she surprised him by showing up while he had his back turned.
She filmed his reaction when he saw her for the first time…and it was the sweetest!
Blake and Gwen have recorded five duets since they started dating. They are “Go Ahead and Break My Heart” (2016), “You Make It Feel Like Christmas” (2017), “Nobody but You” (2020), “Happy Anywhere” (2020), and a cover of The Judds’ “Love Is Alive” (2023), and “Purple Irises” (2024).
“Nobody but You” and “Happy Anywhere” were both number one hits on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. To top it off, the music video for “Nobody but You” won a CMT Music Award…marking the first time Gwen ever won an award at a country music awards show.
