During the blind audition segment of NBC’s The Voice 10th season, a young talented songwriter shows the world her inner superstar when she takes the stage with an unforgettable country hit.

Originally from Quebec, 27-year-old Brittany Kennell, a dual-citizen, has spent nearly the last decade of her life working toward a career in songwriting. Since she’s been in Nashville, she has made quite the connections and even works with a well-known colleague of Blake Shelton

Standing on the world-famous Voice stage, the singer was dressed in a white button-down blouse and a black vest holding just a simple microphone, but when the spotlight shines down and she starts to sing, all of the judges and the audience are awestruck.

Nailing a cover version of Sheryl Crow’s 1994 hit single, “Strong Enough”, the singer brings a familiar sound to the stage.

While Kennell is singing, Blake and Christina Aguilera look at each other.

“It’s like Gwen Stefani,” Christina says noting the distinct sound of both singer’s voices.

“I like that!” Blake shouts as he nails his button!

But, Blake’s not the only coach to give the upcoming singer a chair turn. Pharrell Williams pushes his button and turns his chair at the very last second!
