Remember The FIRST Time Kelly Clarkson Broke Down And Stopped Singing?

NBCU/iHeartRadio Music Awards

While Kelly Clarkson’s “Piece By Piece” performance on the final season of American Idol would have been hard to miss the last few weeks, many people probably don’t remember a time from last year when she completely stopped singing because something tugged at her heart strings.

During a concert this last fall in Salt Lake City, Utah, the crossover artist was giving the crowd a beautiful rendition of her 2004 hit “Breakaway” when something caught her eye and she immediately stopped singing.

What captured her heart? She locked eyes with a tiny blue-eyed angel sitting right in front of her!

Boston, who was just 16-months-old was too cute to handle and she asked his parents if she could hold him. Next thing you know, she’s on stage with this adorable tot!

Her interaction with baby Boston is truly magical and she admitted that she was struck with a bit of baby fever after having a child of her own, River Rose. She even told little Boston that he and River could one day be together!

It was a moment that you won’t want to miss!

She was completely enamored with the little one and apologized to the crowd for ruining the performance.

“This next song I’m gonna sing for you – and I promise I’ll sing it, not like ‘Breakaway’. You can listen to [Breakaway] at home, it sounds great on the.. [record].”

Watch this wonderful moment with the one-and-only Kelly Clarkson in the video below!
