Kelly Clarkson may not be considered a country singer, but she does frequently cover country songs during her live shows!

During a concert a couple years ago, Clarkson revealed she was “pumped, but terrified” to cover “Ain’t Goin’ Down ‘Til The Sun Comes Up” by Garth Brooks.

The only reason she was terrified is because of how wordy the song is! But she started singing the rockin’ country song and the crowd was loving it!

About halfway through, she introduced a surprise guest that no one was expecting!

Everybody give it up for Miss Trisha Yearwood!” she said to the adoring audience.

Over the course of the next couple minutes, we witnessed an epic duet between Clarkson and Yearwood. They each traded off another verse and joined together for the powerful chorus.

We’re assuming Brooks knew about this duet and was totally on board!

Watch the incredible duet below!
