Julianne Hough Shares The One Workout Tip You HAVE To Try

As a ballroom dancer, Julianne Hough has to stay in tip-top shape. To us, it seems like someone as active as Hough would never have any trouble finding the motivation to work out. But as she shared in a recent interview with Popsugar, she even dreads her daily exercise sometimes.

I definitely have those days where I am just so not in the mood to work out,” Hough said.

So how does Hough help motivate herself to work out, even when she isn’t feeling like it that day? Well, as she revealed, the secret lies within her wardrobe:

“Honestly, if I don’t feel like getting up and working out, I throw on a really cute workout outfit and the minute I feel like I am dressed and ready, I have a real excuse to go. If I stay in my clothes for the day or in my pajamas I’m never going to get up. So that always helps.”

Changing into her workout clothes not only gives Hough the motivation to exercise, but helps her develop a better attitude about the whole ordeal.

I think if I work out today, all those endorphins are going to help me have a better day and be a better version of myself,” she said. “Having a mental-emotional goal over a physical one always helps me out.

Since Hough is a singer as well as a dancer, she also knows that a good song can help make any workout more tolerable. Tune in below to watch her show off her moves and her voice in the official music video for her single “That Song in My Head.”

It sounds like Hough has some great workout advice, which doesn’t surprise us, since she’s always been in incredible shape!
