Julianne Hough’s Throwback Photo With Brother Derek Is The Definition Of Adorable

The Tampa Bay Times

Siblings Julianne and Derek Hough danced their ways into America’s hearts when they signed on as professional ballroom dancers on the hit competition show, Dancing with the Stars. Out of all the pros to appear on the show, Derek has won the most, with a total of six championship titles under his belt. Julianne was also successful on the show, after she won her debut season and the one following.

Both Julianne and Derek are well-known choreographers, and were even awarded a Primetime Emmy in 2015 for outstanding choreography on Dancing with the Stars. But the Hough siblings’ talents don’t end at dancing. They both have dabbled in acting and singing over the years, adding further to their already massive fan base.

Julianne served as a judge for the past three seasons of Dancing with the Stars, and Derek is the show’s reigning champ with partner Bindi Irwin. However, the Houghs took this season off to pursue other projects. Julianne is working on furthering other aspects of her career and planning her wedding while Derek is preparing for his starring role in next year’s upcoming Broadway production of Singin’ in the Rain.

Since Julianne and Derek share similar passions in life, they have always been close. This is something Julianne proved in an adorable throwback photo of the two siblings, which she shared to mark Derek’s 31st birthday on Tuesday (May 17).

The photo shows Julianne and Derek as young children in a large inner tube on what appears to be a lake. Julianne had a slight smile on her face, while Derek decided to goof around a little and stick his tongue out at the camera.

Happy Birthday to my big brother and partner in crime,” Julianne wrote in part of her sweet message to Derek on his birthday.
