Something’s Missing From Sam Hunt’s Flirty Video For “Single For The Summer”

Chase Lauer

Fresh off of five chart-topping singles, country newcomer Sam Hunt has released a new video for another track from his 2014 album Montevallo.

“Single for the Summer” captures the excitement of the season from the point of view of a single guy who looks forward to spending the summer with “bikinis, party girls, and martinis.” In the song, Hunt admits that he’s already graduated but that the beginning of summer always resurrects the old feelings of freedom.

The video is shot from a first person point of view with the camera following two women as they play and stroll along the beach. One crucial element of the video is missing, however…..Sam Hunt. The singer is only heard, not seen, throughout the entire video. So, if you’re a Sam Hunt fan hoping to see his adorable self flirting on the beach, you’re going to be sorely disappointed.

With or without a shot of Sam Hunt’s face, the video is worth watch and the tune is a great way to kick off summer vacation. Check out the video below!
