There’s no doubt about it, Christina Grimmie had endless talent.

Her life was sadly cut short early Saturday morning (June 11). After a show in Orlando, Florida, Grimmie was shot several times during a meet and greet. She was rushed to the hospital where she was in critical condition until she succumbed to the gun shots.

The entire music industry was in shock, and so were her family, friends, and fans. Countless musicians have paid their respects to the young singer, who was only 22 at the time of her tragic passing.

While she had quite the following on YouTube in her younger years, America fell in love with her on Season 6 of The Voice. She place third in the competition with Adam Levine as her coach, and was a force to be reckoned with.

Her blind audition turned all four coaches’ chairs, two of which were within the first few seconds. Levine’s chair turn wasn’t far behind Usher and Shakira’s.

That didn’t take long!” host Carson Daly said backstage with Grimmie’s family.

She sang Miley Cyrus’ power ballad “Wrecking Ball”, which was the perfect choice to show off her vocal talent.

For some reason, it took Blake Shelton the longest to turn his chair. Ultimately, he turned when she hit the highest and strongest note in the entire song.

As we all know, Grimmie went on to dominate the competition all the way to the finale. She is a beloved member of The Voice family and she will never be forgotten. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with her family.

Watch the video below for just a glimpse at her incredible talent.
