Back in 2006, country heartthrob Josh Turner teamed up with the legendary Randy Travis for an unreal night of duets for a TV special called CMT Cross Country. They sang not only Josh’s hits, but also Randy’s iconic classics. Their true, baritone voices meshed together so well, we couldn’t tell who was singing what at some point.

They performed Josh’s “Long Black Train” and “Your Man,” as well as Randy’s “Three Wooden Crosses,” “Diggin’ Up Bones,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “On The Other Hand.”

The country crooners traded off singing each verse and chorus, surely melting the hearts of everyone in the audience. While their individual solos were captivating throughout the entire performance, the best part is definitely when they intertwined their vocals for dazzling harmonies.

Josh proved his ability to hold his own with the best in the business, his deep sultry vocals flying through the air like silk.

“On The Other Hand” was first recorded by Keith Whitley in 1985 for his album L.A. to Miami. Randy later recorded it as the lead-off single of his 1986 album Storms of Life and it peaked at#67. He re-released it in April 1986, and it became his first number one hit in the US and Canada.
