Country superstar Blake Shelton  and pop-star Shakira take the stage for a breathtaking performance of Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” live on the of “The Voice” stage back in 2013.

The Columbian pop-star went full on country in this performance with the help of Shelton making for an interesting yet amazing result. Shakira maintained her Spanish accent in the performance while still managing to harmonize beautifully with Blake’s strong country vocals.

“It’s a quarter after one, I’m all alone and I need you now,” the two sing to one another. “Said I wouldn’t call but I’ve lost all control and I need you now.”

Shakira and Blake hold eye contact throughout much of the performance making for an almost romantic-like duet. Fellow costars Usher and Adam Levine watch eagerly during the performance and cheer alongside the crowd when the song comes to a close.

“Need You Now” was released in 2010 by Lady Antebellum off their second studio album and spent five weeks at No.1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. The song won the country band four Grammys including “Song of the Year” and “Record of the Year” making it the first country song to win both awards since the Dixie Chicks’ “Not Ready to Make Nice.”
