We all know that Kenny Chesney and Miranda Lambert have been friends for years. They’ve battled tabloids about their close friendship, some even suggesting that they are much more than friends.
Chesney sat down with Entertainment Weekly and spilled the beans. Truth is, they really are great friends! Chesney took her under his wing when he brought her on tour back in 2009 and since then, they’ve remained extremely close.
“I don’t talk to her every day; we don’t call each other at Christmas,” Chesney told EW. “But when we see each other, it’s like we never left.“
During their 2009 tour, and even now, Lambert often joined Chesney onstage for special duets. In this particular video, they teamed up to sing Chesney’s 1999 hit song “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy”.
The lyrics of the song must have gotten to the singers because they were acting super flirtatious towards one another! Lambert was shaking her booty like she was at a Luke Bryan concert!
The flirtatious spirit of the performance is enough to surprise anyone, but what shocked the audience, was their serious on stage chemistry!
