Today Show correspondent Natalie Morales sat down with Season 9’s coaches of ‘The Voice’ to talk about anything and everything! Well, maybe not everything.
While this season’s contestants and their performances might be better than ever, the coaches are also making headlines, as Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani recently began a budding romance.
Morales was warned by Gwen about the rambunctiousness of Adam Levine, Pharrell and Shelton, “I would be really scared if I were you. They’re in a really good mood.“
They talked about the success of each live performance, having many reach the Top 10 on iTunes, the “friendly” competition between the four of them, and of course, the reality of Adam and Blake’s bromance. Is it for show? Or is it for real?!
After a few bro-mantic snarks by Levine and Shelton, the coaches further proved their loyalty to one another when Morales asked, “Gwen and Blake, is it good to just be out in the open now?“
“That was a nice segue,” Pharrell said, as Levine awkwardly sang, “Diversion! Distraction! Next question! Ask the next question before it gets awkward!”
Even though they are having tons of fun together, none of them are budging when they are asked about Shelton and Stefani’s romance. What good friends!
