As the youngest daughter of country superstar, Garth Brooks – it looks like she is going to follow in her father’s footsteps. She is currently in pursuit of big Nashville dreams – and from the sound of it – she’s well on her way!
The young singer gave performed a raw acoustic version of Clarkson’s heartbreaking song. Clarkson detailed the devastating memory of her father’s absence during her childhood throughout the song.
Allie channels the sorrowful lyrics in her delivery, making for a deeply moving performance. And while Allie’s dad was a far cry from Clarkson’s – the young girl is able to show every emotion necessary to tear at your heartstrings. You can watch Allie’s moving rendition in the video below.
