Billy Gilman Wins ‘Voice’ Battle With Powerful Performance Of “Man In The Mirror”

‘The Voice’ Battle Rounds have begun! During Monday night’s episode, two hopefuls from the same team went head-to-head in a battle that would only leave one of them standing.

Former child star Billy Gilman wowed the ‘Voice’ coaches during his blind audition performance of Adele’s “When We Were Young,” resulting in a rare four-chair turn. Gilman ultimately chose to be a member of Adam Levine’s team. So, it’s not surprise that Gilman stunned the panel with tonight’s rendition of Michael Jackson’s “Man in the Mirror” which he performed with fellow Team Adam member Andrew DeMuro.

Following the guys’ song, each coach took the opportunity to critique the performance and advise Adam Levine about who he should eliminate.

“I don’t know that I’ve ever seen a more evenly matched battle,” Coach Blake Shelton said of the two. “Billy has this voice that just cuts through everything, just like a laser voice. It’s so good, man. Then Andrew has all these little runs that he throws in there that separates from Billy. So, I don’t think you can go wrong here either way.”

Coaches Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus agreed with Blake, but Adam had to make a tough decision and chose to eliminate Andrew.
