The gloves are off!
After Miley Cyrus became a coach for Season 11 of The Voice, Blake Shelton knew he wasn’t the resident country music coach anymore. Cyrus grew up in Tennessee and had many country greats stop by her house to visit with her dad, country star Billy Ray Cyrus.
She has been using her family members to her advantage this season, even having her godmother, Dolly Parton, record a special message for one of the blind auditions.
She has proved that she will stop at nothing to sway an artist to pick her over the other coaches and she’s doing a dang good job!
In a recent Blind Audition episode of the singing competition show, 16-year-old Khaliya belted country star Kelsea Ballerini‘s smash-hit “Dibs” and wowed Shelton and Cyrus enough to turn around.
After her awesome performance, it was now time for the coaches to battle it out. Cyrus used her fast talking to try to persuade Khaliya, while Shelton was just trying to get a single word in!
Cyrus was talking so much that Shelton said, “Oh my God, we’re gonna have to change the name of this show to Miley’s Voice!”
Cyrus continued to talk and talk and talk and talk until Shelton finally interrupted her.
“The flowers are going to die on your clothes! You’re sucking the oxygen out of this room,” Shelton yelled!
It came down to the time where she had to choose between Cyrus and Shelton. Find out who she picked below! Do y’all think she made the right decision?
