Blake Shelton And Lauren Duski Team Up For Phenomenal ‘There’s A Tear In My Beer’ Duet

Every Voice finale, each contestant remaining teams up with their superstar coach to perform a duet. All season long, we’ve been looking forward to Lauren Duski’s duet with her coach Blake Shelton because of their shared musical genre.

Her song choices for the season have been praised almost as highly as her delivery. From Shenandoah’s “Ghost In This House” to Little Big Town’s “Better Man” to Garth Brooks’ “The Dance”, Duski has nailed every single performance.

For her duet with her coach, they chose the Hank Williams and Hank Williams Jr. classic, “There’s A Tear In My Beer”. The elder Williams first recorded the song in 1951, but decided against releasing it. Hank Jr. released his version in 1988 as a duet with his dad.

Singing in front of a scene straight out of a Country-Western movie, the country singers traded off verses and sang in harmony for the chorus. The two looked like they thoroughly enjoyed themselves and gave each other a playful high five at the end of the song.

Will this performance as well as her Garth Brooks tribute be enough to crown her Season 12’s winner of The Voice? Tune in tonight to find out!

In the meantime, check out the studio version of their awesome performance below.
