Blake Shelton’s Mom Ends Birthday Serenade With Hysterical Joke About Her Son

Country star Blake Shelton was surrounded by the people he loved most on his 41st first birthday in 2017. The singer was surrounded by his family and girlfriend Gwen Stefani.

The blonde bombshell recorded her boyfriend getting a surprise serenade from his family. Singing to her man, Stefani panned the camera to the couple as the women in the room humorously sang, “Happy birthday, dear Blakey.” Shelton began to laugh at the nickname as his mother added after their serenade, “We both said Blakey!”

Walking around the table to her son, Shelton’s mom wrapped her arms around the singer as she smirked into the camera, “I birfed this big thang.” Shelton began to laugh, mimicking his mother’s accent as he repeated her take on the word “birthed.”
