Brennley Brown Will Knock Your Socks Off With Flawless Martina McBride Cover

YouTube/The Voice

Since the moment she stepped on The Voice stage, all the coaches knew 15-year-old Brennley Brown was a star. They immediately were fighting over her, but no one was surprised when she chose Blake Shelton as a coach.

Alicia Keys did put up a good fight, but when she revealed she grew up listening to country greats like Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, and Waylon Jennings, Adam Levine told Keys, “None of that was a good sign for you, Alicia.”

Although she was let go by Team Blake in the Battle Rounds, Levine and Gwen Stefani each pressed their button to steal her, and she chose to go to Team Gwen, where she has been shining bright ever since.

With previous performances deemed “perfect” by her new coach, Brown knew she had to bring it for her Top 10 performance on Monday night (May 8). Singing Martina McBride’s hit song “Anyway”, the teenager sang the powerful song with gusto, earning her praise from all four coaches.

Not only did she hit every big note, she also made it very personal. At one point, she knelt down to hold a fan’s hand and sing directly to her. “Anyway” resonated with Brown, so she dedicated it to her mother, who always pushed her to pursue her singing dreams, even though most people told her she was too young.

What did you think of her performance? Watch it below.
