Nashville may be “Music City,” but within recent weeks it has been a full-fledged hockey town. The Nashville Predators hockey team have been crushing it lately, and are currently winning the Western Conference Finals series 2-1 against the Anaheim Ducks.

Following their big win on Tuesday night (May 16), everyone in Nashville was going wild. A whole host of country stars were in attendance, including Dierks Bentley, Jason Aldean, and of course, Carrie Underwood, whose husband Mike Fisher is captain of the team.

Two other country stars who showed up at the Bridgestone Arena that night were Karen Fairchild and Jimi Westbrook of Little Big Town. The two married on May 31, 2006 and welcomed their son, Elijah, almost four years later on March 5, 2010.

Now seven, Elijah tagged along to watch the Predators play with his parents. After their home team won, the entire arena exploded in a wave of excitement. But no one seemed more excited than Elijah was!

Karen happened to capture he son’s reaction to the Predators’ win, and shared the video with her followers on Twitter. His response was priceless, as he stood up and cheered like crazy!

It’s clear that Elijah is a big fan of the Predators! His enthusiasm is placed on full display in another video that was shared by Little Big Town’s official Twitter. This video shows Elijah dancing around in the stands while loud music blares throughout the arena.

He was really getting down! We’re sure that Elijah and everyone else in the arena could hardly contain their excitement when it came time for the National Anthem. Keith Urban surprised everyone by showing up to sing. It was a career-defining moment for Keith, who was born in New Zealand and grew up in Australia.

I’ve lived in America for 25 years, I’ve never been asked to sing the National Anthem,” said Keith. “It was such an honor to do it here in Nashville for the Preds.”

You can tune in below to see Keith’s outstanding performance of the National Anthem prior to the Predators’ big win!
