Father & Daughter Melt Hearts With Stunning ‘Ring Of Fire’ Duet

Their really isn’t a bond quite like that between a parent and their child. A father and daughter with an incredible musical bond will melt your heart with their stunning rendition of Johnny Cash‘s “Ring of Fire.”
Taking place in July of 2013, a young girl by the name of Genesis Vaughn and her father Jon paid tribute to Cash with their touching performance of the country classic. The doting father takes lead on the acoustic guitar, gazing admiringly at young Genesis throughout her dazzling cover.
“Alright! This is Genesis,” Jon announces. “And she’s gonna sing Johnny Cash’s ‘Ring of Fire’…Hopefully I don’t screw up this time, this is like the seventh take.”
The father-daughter singing duo are no stranger to covers, covering classic artists such as Dolly Parton as well as modern singers like Kelly Clarkson.
“Ring of Fire” was co-written by June Carter but was famously recorded by her country crooner husband. The song was an international success, dipping into the charts in Germany as well as Switzerland.
