According to the world’s foremost expert in wealth and business, this country superstar has nailed down the top spot among females for 2017 – and it may just catch you by surprise!

Forbes has released their annual analysis of wealth among the entertainment industry and has listed the top-earning female musicians across all genres – but there is only one country singer on that list.

Taking the top spot is Beyonce, who earned a mind-blowing $105 million this year. Following up in second place is U.K. icon, Adele, who took home just over half that amount at $69 million. Former country princess, Taylor Swift, slipped down from her spot at the top of Fobes’ list last year and landed squarely in the third position with $44 million of earnings.

Rounding out the bottom three positions are Celine Dion with $42 million as a result of her Las Vegas residency, Jennifer Lopez with $38 million from her Vegas gigs and new TV show, and everyone’s favorite blonde country queen: Dolly Parton.

According to the publication, Parton is the highest-earning female in country music with a total income of $37 million for the year and giving Garth Brooks a run for his money as leader of the country genre.

Check out the video below where Dolly Parton explains how she got her business sense from her dad and how that has served her to create a successful business empire.
