One of his seemingly endless number-one hits, George Strait’s 2008 release of “I Saw God Today” became an instant classic from the moment it hit the radio waves and stole the hearts of listeners all over the world.

The powerful and inspiring song became Strait’s 56th number-one hit and succeeded a record previously set by fellow country legend, Conway Twitty.
